At The Pet Mahal, your pet will be well cared for by our dedicated and trained staff. Our goal is to create safe, supervised and fun-filled days with plenty of toys and play equipment. Pets love to come and play and their owners can confidently place their trust in our standards of care. Our six-separate back outdoor areas are equipped with artificial turf with NO dangerous infill, wading pools and various climbing toys. The grounds are kept impeccably clean and fresh. Each guest is assessed to determine what style of play they have so they are matched with "friends" that complement their individual style, size and personality.
An Assessment is required prior to 1st time Daycare. What is an assessment? A full assessment is an evaluation that takes 5 to 6 hours that introduces your pet to other humans, food, toys, barriers and play with other dogs to determine whether they are a good fit for open play. If they are at ease, then they are assessed as to what groups they fit best with for safety and social growth. The day of daycare and the assessment cost is $32.
Reservations are required in order to ensure availability.
Dogs can only be dropped off for daycare between 6:15am and 10:15am.
Intermittent nap times are given with soft classical music and dimmed lighting.
Daily behavior and health monitoring is performed including eating and elimination.
They get lots of love and personalized care from every team member.
All staff are trained in Dog Behavior, Pet CPR and First-aid.
Air Oasis purifiers are throughout the facility.
Ultraviolet Light Air purifier in HVAC system.

Pet Taxi Services
If your dog needs a ride to or from dog daycare, boarding, or grooming we can pick them up and return them home.
We can taxi your dog to and from The Pet Mahal in time for your arrival from work or vacation. We do ask that you notify the office upon your arrival home so we know your dog is safe and sound.
*48-hour reservation required. *$20, $30, $40 one way (up to 9 miles), hourly rates may apply.
Charleston PET Boarding
